IP Address Blocking

The IP Address Blocking tool enables you to specify IP addresses that you want to block from submitting transactions to your payment gateway account.
Consider the following details when configuring this tool:
  • This filter requires you to submit the customer IP address. If you use the Advanced Integration Method (AIM), use the
    x_customer_ip
field to send the customer IP address for each transaction. If you use the
    Authorize.net
    API, use the
    customerIP
field to send the customer IP address for each transaction.
  • You must list at least one IP address.
  • Only IPv4 addresses are supported.
  • If you choose to disable the filter, any previously entered IP addresses are saved. Manually remove IP addresses that you do not wish to block.
  • While most customers have static IP addresses, some customers using older Internet connections may have IP addresses dynamically assigned to them. Be cautious when blocking IP addresses to avoid blocking dynamic IP addresses.
