Creating Sales Profiles

Creating sales profiles enables you to set up various pricing rates and supported products for specific types of merchants. For example, you can have different pricing for high-volume merchants. You can also provide products only for a certain type of merchant. Associates can view the pricing and settings of the profile and assign sales profiles to merchants, but they cannot create or modify a sales profile. Only administrators can create and modify sales profiles.
Configure a sales profile that can be used for most of your merchants and designate it as the default sales profile. The default sales profile saves time when adding merchants because the sales pricing is already suitable for most merchants. You can change the default sales profile to a different sales profile when necessary.
